Businesses are entitled to carbon credits (ESCs) for projects that save electricity in NSW, including those completed since 1 July 2008.

We remove all the cost, risk and hassle involved for you to create the ESCs and we offer a guaranteed payment for every ESC created. 

We cover all costs, reporting, audits and ongoing liabilities.

We let you focus on your core business and enjoy improved returns on your energy efficiency investments.

We are not a consulting company because we take on the risks for our partners of developing potential ESC revenue.  Our partners pay us nothing, and we receive no payment unless we manage to create the ESCs.  

How it works

Projects that save electricity in NSW may be eligible to receive ESCs that can then be sold to generate revenue to improve the project's return on investment.

Typical ESC-generating projects are:

• Lighting Upgrades and Optimisation;
• HVAC Upgrades and Optimisation ;
• Installing Voltage Optimisers;
• Installing High Efficiency Motors;
• Installing Power Factor Correction; and
• Improving the NABERS Energy Rating.

NSW Energy Savings Scheme (ESS)

The ESS started in 2009 as a spin-off from the Greenhouse Gas Abatement Scheme.  It aims to improve the efficiency of electrical energy consumption in NSW.  The motivations for this are partly environmental, but also improved productivity of the State's industry and infrastructure.
