Energy and Water Taskforce

What
LESS is delivering the Energy and Water Task Force in the Cities of Yarra and Darebin (south) on behalf of Sustainability Victoria.

The Energy and Water Task Force is a FREE service available for a limited time to approximately 1,000 low income households across the Cities of Yarra and southern suburbs of Darebin.

The project improves the energy and water efficiency of homes, helps the environment, reduces household energy and water bills and improves the thermal comfort of homes.

The project involves:

  • Helping households: Providing FREE energy and water savings assessment checklists and installation of energy and water saving products to 1,000 low income households
  • Helping local jobseekers: Training and employing local job-seekers. Trainees work in teams and are supervised by experienced Installer Supervisors
