Energy guzzling electric water heaters (that have access to natural gas supply will be phased out by 2010) and in all existing homes by 2012.

Live Green Solar is fully accredited to install solar hot water systems that allow eligible householders to receive the Federal Government’s new Renewable Energy Bonus Scheme ($1,000 to solar hot water systems and $600 for heat pumps) for systems installed after 19 February 2010.  There's also a Victorian State rebate of up to $1,600 to install a solar hot water system and even more money available from the Renewable Energy Certificate (REC) rebates scheme.
